A Flowcode alternative that can't delete your printed codes.

Flowcode's own review pages tell the story that brings people here: printed codes that suddenly read "deleted by the creator", a free tier capped at a couple of codes and 500 scans, and a Pro plan that has climbed to around $25 a month. If your codes don't need editing after print, none of that cost or risk is necessary.

This code is pure data. It carries your content directly instead of a link through our servers, so it can't expire and we couldn't turn it off if we wanted to.

I.

It cannot expire

Static codes are pure data. There is no timer, no scan limit and no trial, so there is nothing that can run out.

II.

It never touches our servers

The code is generated in your browser. We never see your content, so we have nothing to hold hostage.

III.

No account, no watermark

Download PNG, SVG or print-ready PDF and use it commercially, without signing anything.

The structural difference, not a discount

Flowcode sells dynamic codes: every scan passes through their servers, which is what makes codes editable and trackable — and also what makes them deletable, cappable and priceable per month. This site's generators make static codes: your URL or data is encoded directly into the image, in your browser. There is no server between your print and your reader, so there is no subscription to lapse, no scan counter to hit, and no company decision that can kill a code you already laminated.

That is not a swipe at dynamic codes as a technology. Editable codes genuinely need infrastructure, and infrastructure genuinely costs money. The problem is printing codes that depend on a server without being told, or at prices set after you are locked in.

When you still need dynamic, and what it should cost

Be honest with yourself about one question: will the destination change after printing? If not — menus pointing at a stable URL, WiFi cards, vCards, review links — static wins on every axis: free, permanent, private. If yes, you need dynamic, and you should pay for it with your eyes open: monthly billing you can actually cancel, a price in single digits, and no scan-count hostage-taking. That is the dynamic product this site is preparing, and the price will be written on the tin.

Questions, answered plainly

Can codes made here end up 'deleted by the creator' like Flowcode reviews describe?
No, structurally. A static code has no server component: once downloaded, it is as independent as ink on paper. We could shut this site tomorrow and every code ever generated here would keep scanning.
Is there a scan limit like Flowcode's free tier?
No. Scans of a static code don't touch any server, ours included, so they physically cannot be counted or capped. Print one poster or ten thousand: nothing changes.
What Flowcode features am I giving up with static codes?
Editing the destination after printing, and scan analytics. Both require routing scans through a server. If you need them, that is a legitimate dynamic-code use case — just buy it at an honest monthly price, from us when it launches or from anyone else who publishes their pricing plainly.
Is this really free? Flowcode also says 'free'.
Free here means: no account, no trial clock, no scan cap, no watermark, unlimited codes, commercial use included. The site is funded by the upcoming dynamic product, not by converting your free codes into hostages.
Can I customise codes with brand colours and a logo?
Yes: ink colour, module style, centre logo, transparent background, and exports in PNG, true vector SVG and print-ready PDF. All free, on every generator of the site.
