OathQR

Free forever · no account · no watermark

Turn any link into a QR code that keeps working.

Paste a link, download the code, print it anywhere. The address goes directly into the pattern, with no redirect through our servers, so it can't expire, break, or start showing someone else's ads.

This code is pure data. It carries your content directly instead of a link through our servers, so it can't expire and we couldn't turn it off if we wanted to.

I.

It cannot expire

Static codes are pure data. There is no timer, no scan limit and no trial, so there is nothing that can run out.

II.

It never touches our servers

The code is generated in your browser. We never see your content, so we have nothing to hold hostage.

III.

No account, no watermark

Download PNG, SVG or print-ready PDF and use it commercially, without signing anything.

Why this URL QR code can't be turned off

Most "free" QR generators don't encode your link at all. They encode their own link, which redirects to yours. That is how a code printed on 10,000 flyers can suddenly demand a subscription, show ads, or die when a startup shuts down. This generator does the opposite: your URL goes straight into the pixel pattern, your browser does the work, and the result is as permanent as the paper you print it on.

Static or dynamic: an honest answer

If your link will never change, a static code is simply better: free, permanent, independent. If you need to change the destination after printing, track scans, or fix a typo in a link that is already on a billboard, you need a dynamic code. That one is paid, here as anywhere else, because keeping a redirect online for years costs real money. We would rather tell you now than trap you after you have printed.

Questions, answered plainly

Does this QR code ever expire?
No. The code carries your URL directly, like ink on paper. It works as long as the destination page exists. There is no trial, no scan limit, and no subscription that can lapse.
Is it really free? What's the catch?
Static QR codes cost us nothing to generate, since they are created entirely in your browser. We fund the site with optional paid dynamic codes, the ones you can edit after printing. The free tool has no catch, no watermark and no account.
What happens if I change my website address later?
A static code can't be edited after printing, because the URL is baked in. If you expect the address to change, that is exactly what a dynamic QR code is for: it points to a stable short link you can redirect at any time.
Can I use the QR code commercially?
Yes. Menus, packaging, business cards, billboards, anywhere. The code is yours, with no attribution or licence required.
How large should I print it?
Rule of thumb: printed width should be at least a tenth of the scanning distance. A code scanned from 25 cm (a menu or card) should be at least 2.5 cm wide. Download the SVG or PDF for crisp printing at any size.
