Free forever · no account · no watermark
Looking for a QR Code Monkey alternative? Here is an honest one.
QR Code Monkey deserves credit: its static codes are genuinely free and don't expire, which already puts it above most of the industry. If you are here anyway, it is probably for one of three reasons: the ads, the server-side generation, or bulk. We differ on all three.
Try it now: point your phone camera at the preview.
This code is pure data. It carries your content directly instead of a link through our servers, so it can't expire and we couldn't turn it off if we wanted to.
It cannot expire
Static codes are pure data. There is no timer, no scan limit and no trial, so there is nothing that can run out.
It never touches our servers
The code is generated in your browser. We never see your content, so we have nothing to hold hostage.
No account, no watermark
Download PNG, SVG or print-ready PDF and use it commercially, without signing anything.
Where this generator actually differs
First, privacy by construction: on this site the code is drawn entirely in your browser — your links, WiFi passwords and contact details never leave your machine, and you can verify it by loading the page and switching off your connection. Second, the room is quieter: no ad banners around the tool, no cookie wall, because the site is funded by an upcoming paid product for dynamic codes, not by your attention. Third, bulk: paste a list or a CSV and download up to 500 codes as a ZIP of PNGs or SVGs, free, which is the job QR Code Monkey points elsewhere for.
What you keep, and what to watch out for anywhere
Everything you use Monkey for is here: logo in the centre, custom colours, module styles, true vector SVG and high-resolution PNG, no watermark, no account, commercial use included. Static codes from either site will outlive both sites, which is how static codes should work.
The thing to watch out for — there and everywhere — is the quiet handoff to a separate dynamic-codes product with a subscription. Dynamic codes legitimately cost money, ours will too, but the price should be written where you can read it before you print. That is the oath this site runs on.
Questions, answered plainly
- Is QR Code Monkey's free generator a scam, then?
- No, and we won't pretend otherwise: its static codes are truly free and permanent. The industry's expiring-codes trap lives elsewhere. The differences here are in-browser generation (your data never leaves your machine), no ads, and free bulk from CSV.
- Do the codes made here expire?
- Never. Static codes carry your content directly in the image, generated in your browser with no server in the loop. There is no trial, no scan limit and nothing we could switch off.
- Can I add a logo and custom colours like on QR Code Monkey?
- Yes: centre logo, ink colour and module style are in the customiser, and error correction rises automatically so the code stays scannable. PNG, true vector SVG and print-ready PDF, all free and watermark-free.
- Does this site have bulk generation?
- Yes, up to 500 codes per batch from a pasted list or CSV, downloaded as a ZIP of PNGs or SVGs, processed entirely in your browser. It is free, with no daily cap: run as many batches as you need.
- What about dynamic (editable) QR codes?
- In preparation, as the site's only paid product, at a plain monthly price with no annual lock-in. Until then, everything on this site is static, free, and honest about the difference.
